The FUNKEN Space at the Chemnitz Technology Campus opens its doors. Inspiring keynote speeches and exciting insights into interdisciplinary projects will be framed by FUNKEN Funk and a selection of suitable songs on the topic of technology in music.

  • 17:30 to 18:00 - Artistic-technological research in Chemnitz - with Robert Verch, co-initiator of the Funken Akademie
    Robert presents the vision and structure of the Funken Kolleg and shows how a platform for artistic-experimental research is being established that provides creative impulses for science, business and technology.
  • 18:00 to 18:30 - Anecdotes of artistic facts - with Enrique Torres, founder and project manager of the Art & Science Residency Artistic Facts from Jena
    Enrique shares inspiring anecdotes from the exciting interface between science and art. He will provide insights into the harmonious potential of transdisciplinary work and bring concrete examples that show how multi-layered and resonant the interplay between art and science can be.
  • 18:30 to 21:30 FUNKEN Funk with zusammensindwirDisco
    NDW-enthusiastic presenters Lea and Sophia take us on a musical journey through Neue Deutsche Welle. With a special focus on technical innovations, they answer the question: How did NDW artists think about the future?
