Committed people from Chemnitz and the region plant apple trees and fruit trees in spring and autumn. Schoolchildren and children, employees from companies, cultural and social institutions as well as passionate people from allotment garden associations, city districts and neighbourhoods shape their living space by planting old apple varieties and harvesting valuable fruit.

People in wheelchairs can obtain a euro key and a map about steep areas and stairs at the park ticket office to access the park.
