The Friends of the Sächsische Mozart-Gesellschaft Waldenburg e. V. welcomes the new year 2025 with a concert of yearningly lush waltzes in ¾ time: the Robert Schumann Quartet plays - cheerful, lively, melancholic.
In addition to music from the "Viennese Bouquets", we can look forward to two special programme items: Mozart's Serenata ex C (KV 648), recently discovered in Leipzig and nicknamed "Ganz kleine Nachtmusik",
and the cycle "Nur Tropfen" by Theodor Kirchner refers to our event series "From Chemnitz to the World", which honours composers from our region in the Capital of Culture year.
