Under the theme of "Electricity and voltage", both children and adults have the opportunity to refresh their knowledge and gain exciting insights into these important topics with various hands-on activities, experiments and workshops. Be inspired by interactive stations and expand your understanding of the importance and functioning of electricity and energy.

In addition to various hands-on activities, there will also be the opportunity to take part in guided tours of the building with former employees of the substation and artists from the RebelArt network to gain an insight into everyday working life at the substation in the past and today and to learn one or two amusing anecdotes from the operation of the UW-Etzdorf.

But as is typical for the UWE, art will not be neglected either: The network around Rebel-Art is presenting a current show of works - look forward to an impressive exhibition that includes paintings, installations as well as works from the fields of graphics and printing and sheds light on the artists' craft. Discover the diverse forms of expression and be inspired by the creativity and talent of the artists.

For the younger guests, there is a colourful supporting programme with face painting, a bouncy castle and various games.

Once you have quenched your thirst for knowledge, you can then enjoy simple but delicious culinary offerings around the fountain in the courtyard of the substation while being entertained by live music. Our selection of food and drinks offers something for every taste and creates a pleasant atmosphere.
