Art historian Roswitha Schieb and historian and German scholar Marcin Wiatr use their literary travel guides to the Bohemian Spa Triangle, Wrocław, Lower Silesia, Upper Silesia and Galicia to show how cities and regions can be explored through their respective, sometimes specific, sometimes overlapping literary landscapes. From reviews of her books published by the German Cultural Forum for Eastern Europe:

"A travel guide whose reading almost replaces the journey itself." (Neue Zürcher Zeitung)

"The geographical selection is well thought out and representative, the literary references will surprise many, and Wiatr's enlightening and at the same time captivating narrative style make the travel guide a must for every German visitor to Upper Silesia." (DIALOG. Deutsch-Polnisches Magazin)

"Literary travel guide is truly an understatement." (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung)

"It's all so invitingly designed that you feel a great desire to take a cure in Karlovy Vary or Mariánské Lázně yourself. A series that [...] sets standards for the literary travel guide format in every respect." (Literaturblog Seitenauslinie)
