With a 3.2 metre high pyramid, mechanical mountains, a natural history section and an HO model railway layout, the Olbernhau town museum offers many exciting experiences for the whole family.

The PURPLE PATH art and sculpture trail presents permanent contemporary sculptures in public spaces and tells stories from Chemnitz and 38 communities in the region. Works by more than 60 artists are on display.
