What is Zeux?
The Zeux materials initiative aims to provide a central location for the collection and reuse of materials that would otherwise be disposed of. Surplus residual materials from industry, commerce and the cultural sector are processed in a resource-saving manner and then made available to interested parties from the arts, culture, education and sustainable businesses. Collaboration with a broad network and the involvement of local partners strengthens the circular economy in Chemnitz, supports cultural engagement and promotes a more conscious use of resources. All interested parties are invited to participate and share materials and knowledge.

Programme for the opening:
14:00 - Opening
15:00 - 15:30 - Lecture by Lutz Hofmann: From initiatives to networked visions
15:30 - 16:30 - What do we need to learn and unlearn? Discussion round with actors from the circular economy in practice - followed by an informal discussion
