Serious games are games that go beyond playing: They make complex content understandable, impart knowledge and invite you to develop your own creative ideas. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of serious gaming at the Serious Games Night on Thursday evening. In addition to exciting guests, they can look forward to mysterious challenges, a games quiz and a live DJ.

Serious Games Maker Days

The Serious Games Maker Days are a meeting place for professional game developers to exchange ideas, co-create and discuss current trends. They ensure that playful principles are applied in education, tourism and business.The Serious Games Maker Days are part of the Makers, Business & Arts programme. This main project of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 is all about promoting creative tourism offerings and cross-sector collaboration between industry and creative professionals. The project is being implemented by the Kulturhauptstadt Europas Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH in cooperation with the Landesverband der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft Sachsen e. V.
