At the "Serious Games Slam" on Friday evening, results from the serious games developer workshop will be presented. From 8 p.m., the various teams will pitch their prototypes and give their all to win over the audience. Serious games are about finding solutions to real problems in a playful way. The show promises glamour, plenty of playful insights and new contacts between the stage and the bar.

Serious Games Maker Days

The Serious Games Maker Days are a meeting place for professional game developers to exchange ideas, co-create and discuss current trends. They ensure that playful principles are applied in education, tourism and business.The Serious Games Maker Days are part of the Makers, Business & Arts programme. This main project of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 is all about promoting creative tourism offerings and cross-sector collaboration between industry and creative professionals. The project is being implemented by the Kulturhauptstadt Europas Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH in cooperation with the Landesverband der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft Sachsen e. V.
