To mark the end of the exhibition in September, a church service will be held on 8 September 2024 at 10:30 am. Previously, "Petrified Wood Circle" was on display at St Jakobikirche in Chemnitz. The presentation of the artwork in pilgrimage churches connects places along the Saxon Leg of the Way of St James with stations on the PURPLE PATH art and sculpture trail .
