Sport hiking - "Start of the hiking year"

We start this first round for the hiking year at Zwönitz railway station. We stay true to the railway and walk along the old railway line in the direction of Brettmühle and the associated pond. From there, our route takes us over the Dreilagenstein in the direction of Streitwald and over to the Katzenstein, where, weather permitting, we have a great view of the foothills of the mountains. The way back leads us past the "Good Fountain" via Lenkersdorf back to the starting point. This is followed by a tour of the town with the Zwönitz night watchman.

This route is planned to take approx. 5.5 hours.
