SPORTS UNITED is the European Capital of Culture 2025 event that brings together people with a love of sport and exercise. Experience a great and unique sports day in the stadium on Gellertstraße, where the diversity of the Chemnitz sports scene comes together.

In various active tours in and around Chemnitz, recreational athletes from young to old can once again master sporting challenges together, including hiking, cycling, triathlon and inline skating.

The SPORTY Mile awaits you in front of the stadium, where sports clubs and providers present themselves and interested parties can try out a wide variety of sports. In addition, tournaments are planned, e.g. in darts or small-sided football as well as a highlight game of the Chemnitz Crusaders in football.
