In the lovingly furnished historical organ building workshop, you can feel the flair of Silbermann's former place of work. Workbenches, tools and materials bear witness to the great craftsmanship with which Silbermann and his employees created the world-famous organs 300 years ago. Here, children's groups can build wooden pipes and other instruments themselves.

The life and work of Gottfried Silbermann is presented in detail on information panels. Sound samples and short films make you want to experience his historic organs live in all their splendour. An interactive map shows all the locations of the preserved instruments in the region.
