The Upcycling Week offers an exciting repertoire on the subject of reusability and reprocessing:

...Vernissage on 28.3.2025 ! The upcycling art exhibition will open at 18:00 in the Old Post Office.

...A photo walk through Lößnitz. Rediscover familiar corners. True to the motto "C the Unseen".

...Upcycling goes to school: school classes discover the topic of upcycling and get creative with tekART!

...Young Artist Contest: The next generation of creatives create their own works of art live on site - from supposed rubbish.

...Word Upcycling: A poetry slam evening on the subject of upcycling. Step up to the mic!

...A "Fucked-up Night" or: people talk about upcycling their CVs and the art of failure. Honest, authentic, refreshing!

..."1000 little things" - we collect bits and bobs that fly around in bags, boxes and drawers and an artist creates a live work of art from them.

...A miniature model of the Old Post Office is created before our eyes. Visitors can look over the artist's shoulder as he works.

...Upcycling for the minis: kindergarten and primary school children build instruments from things that would otherwise end up in the rubbish bin. Turning rubbish into music!

...Skateboard upcycling: scrapped skateboards are turned into cool new things such as jewellery and key rings. For the U18s (and anyone who still feels that way).

...record upcycling: Our legendary techno cellar goes Capital of Culture. This time, real old records will be played and beats upcycled.

...all visitors can get creative and active at a hands-on Saturday. From small to large, we all immerse ourselves in the world of upcycling.

...Jewellery upcycling: The golden end of the week is a workshop in which old jewellery is turned into new gems.
