They lost their fathers in the series of right-wing terrorist murders committed by the so-called National Socialist Underground (NSU): Semiya Şimşek, Gamze Kubaşık, Mandy and Lina Boulgarides. Until the NSU complex exposed itself in November 2011, the relatives of the victims and those affected were not taken seriously by law enforcement agencies, the administration and politicians, but also by some sections of the media. Instead, they were left alone, stigmatised and even suspected of being involved in the murders and attacks themselves. The ignorance and false accusations against the victims and their relatives were often characterised by racist prejudices. The daughters of Enver Şimşek, Mehmet Kubaşık and Theodoros Boulgarides will take part in the panel discussion.

Semiya Şimşek, Gamze Kubaşık, Mandy and Lina Boulgarides will talk about the NSU complex, the security authorities' treatment of relatives and their remembrance work. As political educators, they have been committed to education and political consequences for years.
