The musical vocabulary of Anibal Troilo's orchestra is very broad. In this class we will focus on one type of syncopation. How to recognise (and anticipate) them in the music and how to transfer them to the dance: in the walk and in the sequence.
The following points will be covered in this workshop:
- How to recognise the "sincopas" in Troilo's orchestra in its different phases and how to anticipate them:
1) the 40s
2) the 50s
3) and the 60s
- The fluctuating tempo
It is not compulsory to appear as a dancing couple, but recommended.
