Jeux Dramatiques are methods that guide free play without a text or fixed roles. The basis for a play can be a story, a poem or a song. It is also possible to play on a theme or picture.
This form of theatre does not require an audience and is suitable for exploring themes with groups of children, young people or adults through their own experiences and working with group dynamics. The actors choose a role for themselves, build their own venue and design their own costume using simple materials. They are guided by their own ideas on the topic and spontaneously incorporate personal life issues, both large and small, into their play. The play director does not intervene by means of direction, but accompanies the free play in a narrative way.
The experienced play is reflected on individually and in the group. In this way, what has been experienced can become experience. One's own perspective is enriched by the experience of the other players.
