The FASHIONTEX Festival put the fashion and textile industry in the spotlight. It brought together companies, start-ups, students, researchers and lecturers from eleven universities, as well as fashion enthusiasts. For two days, the focus was on innovative trends in fashion and textile design in the age of digitalisation. Participants from all over Europe presented their innovative projects and products. Various workshops, conferences and a spectacular catwalk show provided a platform for exchange and inspiration. As a historic textile location with centuries of tradition, Chemnitz offered the ideal setting for this event.
