Fête de la Musique in the cultural region

On June 21, the Fête de la Musique kicks off summer in the city – for the 11th time. This European cultural capital year sees an extra special edition of the musical festival, featuring players from the cultural capital region. Of course all Chemnitz residents are invited to participate, listen, and enjoy. The music lineup begins in the early afternoon with musicians from various genres and cultures. Spread around the Chemnitz city center between stages, our spots for street musicians round out the music program. At Fête de la Musique, music, dance, and performance are everywhere you look.
