Fischelant

An interactive art installation by Cosima Terrasse on creativity and community spirit in the garage complex

A Fischelant was found in an abandoned garage on Theaterstraße. How did it get there? Was it man-made? If so, by whom, when, and for what purpose? Local experts get to the bottom of this question in a film. They include: an archaeologist, a historian of technology, an engineer, a car mechanic, an art restorer, a veterinarian, the chairman of a garage association, and a banker. If it turns out to be what the team thinks it is, Chemnitz – and beyond – has a golden future in store. Unravel the secret of the Fischelant for yourself when you visit this on-site interactive installation.
