They exist all over Europe - free, non-commercial radio stations that make local stories audible. This has also been a reality in Chemnitz for over 35 years: Radio T broadcasts music, opinions and stories from the region.

With the Hear to C project, Radio T became an open sound laboratory. They were looking for courageous tinkerers, quiet doers and creative minds. Away from the mainstream, Hear to C collected stories from the neighbourhoods of Chemnitz - directly from the local living environments. As part of the project, the monthly programme "behind the sCenes" was created, in which actors around Chemnitz 2025 had their say. In workshops and at live radio events, everyone was invited to step up to the microphone and try out making radio - experimentally, diversely, together.
