Miriquidi

A camp based on a modular principle

A scenic campsite with white tents is set up on a grassy field surrounded by trees. The sky is blue with scattered clouds. White illustrations of insects and a small animal are superimposed on the image, creating a whimsical atmosphere.

Two myths of the Ore Mountains came together: the legendary Miriquidi primeval forest, which once covered the entire Ore Mountains, and the ingenious VERO-Construc construction set from the Olbernhauer VERO toy makers. Generations of children who grew up in the GDR learned creative planning, playing and building with it. The toy reformers at DENKSTATT Erzgebirge were inspired by the Construc building sets and developed a small, child-friendly camp from just a few modules: tents, a kitchen and a dining area. The tents could be booked as mobile overnight accommodation in the paddock at Schlaf Schön! in Neukirchen-Adorf.

Please note: There was no children's camp in Seiffen this year.
