Not only women's evening dresses, but also the uniforms of civil servants used to be decorated with skilfully crafted trimmings. these haberdashery items are called "trimmings". There is a historical connection between music and the production of trimmings in the Ore Mountains. When there was no work, men and women were forced to earn money as musicians. on 8 March 2025, a day of trimmings and music took place in the Marienberg mining magazine.
