Passements in the interplay of fashion of beautiful women, pearls, tears and musicians – Adventure day in the Marienberg mining store house

Not only women’s evening dresses, but also the uniforms of civil servants used to be decorated with elaborately crafted trimmings. These haberdashery items are called »passements«. There is a historical connection between music and the production of passements in the Ore Mountains. During times where there was no work, men and women were forced to earn money as musicians.
