The festival for street art

Anyone who plays music, juggles or performs acrobatics in the pedestrian zones of this world is hoping for a voluntary reward in a hat that goes round. Hence the name of this festival. For three days, street artists from 20 nations transformed the alleyways and squares of Chemnitz city centre into an open-air stage full of live music, clowning, artistry, juggling, fire shows, walk acts, art and street food. Anyone passing by was invited to wear a hat themselves and pull it off in front of friends and guests, out of respect for one another.
