Anastasia Khoroshilova photographed the Ziegs family of the Ore Mountains and the Hubers, an Upper Bavarian married couple, in their respective native milieus. Created in 2023, the works are being exhibited in an authentic Bavarian barn, a special architectural space on the Ziegs’ grounds in the Ore Mountains. A testimony to rural craft tradition, the barn was constructed for the Hubers on their pastures and used by carpenter Bernd Schmölz. In 2023, the barn was disassembled and relocated to the Ore Mountains where its reconstruction serves as a social and cultural hub for the rural community.
