A large wooden barrel with metal bands is propped on its side in a forest clearing. An old tractor tire rests nearby. Surrounding the scene are leafless trees and brown grass, indicating late autumn or early winter.

In the hot summer of 2018, the Bochmann organic farmers had to sell their dairy cattle and have been providing very basic overnight accommodation for hikers and pilgrims ever since. Students from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Schneeberg at the Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau have now stepped in and created mobile sleeping cells. Very tiny houses have been produced from barrels or a used trampoline or in the form of a wheelbarrow. They also designed an ecological kitchen area and furniture you can sit on while enjoying a beer in the evening. The special highlight: You get to choose your place in a large meadow and roll your bed there.
