Toymakers from all over Europe in Seiffen

From 29 to 31 August 2025, everything in Seiffen revolved around wood, craftsmanship and new ideas. At the European Toy Makers Festival, exhibitors from all over Europe showed how innovative a centuries-old craft could be. Tradition met contemporary design – with modern interpretations of wooden lanterns, music boxes, fairy tale figures, construction kits and classics such as the Räuchermännchen (smoking men).

When: 29 to 31. August 2025

Where? Seiffen, Hauptstraße 156 (area of the former adventure pool and Haus des Gastes Seiffen)

Wooden toys on the main stage!

Workshops, demonstrations and interactive stations brought the craft to life. The programme was aimed at anyone with an interest in design, culture and exchange – from industry professionals to families. Whether watching or getting involved yourself, participation was an integral part of the concept.

Lost Place becomes Happy Place

For the first time, the former water park in Seiffen became a festival location. Between empty water slides, a place full of creativity, encounters and wood art was created – with music, street food and a special atmosphere.
