Event series around club culture

An initiative of Club Atomino in Chemnitz, the United Club Convention is an event series that aims to uncover the local club scene and its history throughout Germany while promoting networking throughout Europe. It’s about intergenerational exchange, togetherness, and shared experience. You’re invited all year long to concerts, parties, fascinating lectures, round tables, workshops, and other pop-up events featuring European participants in various locations throughout the city. Topics such as inclusion, participation, and awareness are just some of many. Beyond common cliches of excess and escapism, the UCC is concerned with club culture’s transformational power, how significant it is for a city like Chemnitz. Outside the metropolis, club culture is culture too. Clubs are experimental spaces, spaces of bodily encounter, and they are important for community life, social bonds and interaction.
