#3000Garagen exhibition launched

Since 9 May 2025, the Garage Campus has been home to the eponymous exhibition of the Chemnitz 2025 project #3000Garages. Portraits of Chemnitz garage owners, curiosities, designs, installations and objects, tuned and imaginary vehicles, texts and video documentation: Like a giant garage, the show brings together everything that is relevant to the #3000Garages project. New elements will gradually be integrated. It will grow, change and thus illuminate the socio-cultural phenomenon of the "East Garage" from different perspectives. The Garage Campus is a former tram depot and new cultural venue in Chemnitz, which was created as a sustainable urban development measure for Chemnitz 2025.

The Chemnitz 2025 project #3000Garagen is dedicated to the Chemnitz garages, their people and stories with artistic works that have emerged from socio-cultural participation work.
