With AIDA Cruises, market leader for cruises in Germany, Chemnitz 2025 has gained another strong business partner as a new Gold Sponsor. The Rostock-based company is an important social player that is continuously expanding its social commitment both nationally and locally in the regions it visits worldwide. This includes the promotion of cultural projects with international appeal.

As Germany's third-largest tour operator, AIDA Cruises stands for innovation, diversity and sustainability. With 18,000 employees from 60 nations, including 1,200 jobs at its home base, AIDA is not only a global player, but also a strong economic partner in eastern Germany. The eleven ships in the AIDA fleet symbolise a relaxed, cosmopolitan and colourful attitude to life with their unmistakable kissable mouths.

The cooperation with AIDA Cruises illustrates the cross-industry approach of gaining partners from different sectors of the economy in order to gather new impetus and create valuable synergies for the Capital of Culture year. With AIDA, a leading representative of the travel and tourism industry is expanding the sponsor network and bringing additional international attention.
