The Leipzig Book Fair took place from 21 to 24 March 2024. The highly popular trade fair is the most important spring meeting place for the book and media industry. This year, 280,000 visitors came to the exhibition grounds. Chemnitz 2025 was represented in Hall 4 with a new information cube that attracted a lot of attention.

The Chemnitz Zwickau Region Tourism Association also presented itself at the trade fair and provided information about the Capital of Culture activities. Nine months before the title year, the topic of Chemnitz 2025 as European Capital of Culture is becoming increasingly visible beyond the region and is attracting a great deal of interest. The Chemnitz 2025 Cube will therefore be present at other trade fairs and many other events this year to draw attention to the European Capital of Culture 2025.
