Commercial Managing Director of Kulturhauptstadt-GmbH appointed

Andrea Pier has been appointed Commercial Director of Chemnitz European Capital of Culture 2025 GmbH.

The company's Supervisory Board has approved this important appointment. Managing Director Stefan Schmidtke will thus have an internationally renowned colleague for the organisational and financial areas.

Andrea Pier has worked for Stage Entertainment, one of the world's leading live entertainment companies, for more than 20 years - most recently as a producer for the Berlin region and the tour business as well as Head of Human Resources for more than 1,300 employees. She also managed the Theater des Westens in Berlin for many years. She will take up her new role in autumn 2022.
