Friemeln. Hutzen. Woodturning. Lace-making. Soldering. STUN!

A whole day of hands-on fun. At the Erzgebirge Maker Festival, makers come together and impart their specific knowledge in a very practical way.

Visitors spend a day designing and experimenting at various hands-on stations at the buntSPEICHER Zwönitz, breathing new life into old materials, building clever solutions for everyday life and providing many aha moments.

Among other things, there is plenty to discover:

  • Lots of technology to touch and try out: 3D printing, foundry, CNC milling, electronics, woodworking and much more.
  • A first insight into the new Zwönitzer buntSPEICHER
  • Meeting workshop "Zwönitz measuring instrument factory"
  • Innovative and sustainable materials, some of which are made from recycled materials
  • Publication of 3D audio artwork by Peter Piek
  • Concert with the "BoogieHechten" from 7 pm

An event organised by the town of Zwönitz in cooperation with the Makers, Business & Arts project of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, Faculty of Applied Arts Schneeberg, Erzgebirge Economic Development Agency, Kreatives Erzgebirge e.V., Förderverein - FreundInnen der europäischen Kulturregion Chemnitz 2025 e.V. and the C2025 Makerhubs in the Erzgebirge in Schneeberg and Lößnitz.
