Following the exhibition GEGENWARTEN | PRESENCES in 2020, another extensive public art project entitled NEW ECOLOGIES will take place in Chemnitz in summer 2024.
NEW ECOLOGIES focuses on sustainability, awareness-raising and participation. The project aims to make the climate crisis visible with artistic interventions by internationally renowned and young artists as well as Chemnitz-based initiatives and to localise the global discourse at a local level. In addition, controversial socio-political topics will be discussed in order to raise awareness and develop perspectives for the future.
