Milestone in the Makers, Business & Arts project: The topping-out ceremony for the Makerhub on Fürstenplatz in Schneeberg took place on 4 November 2025. The baroque Härtelhaus on Fürstenplatz will be home to creativity, community and maker ideas from Europe and beyond. In keeping with the local DNA, everything here will revolve around crafts, technologies and textiles. The newly founded KulturWerk e.V. as the future operating organisation is already active and is already offering numerous workshops, including as part of the MADE IN Future Legacies exhibition, which can be seen in the Siebenschlehener Pochwerk until 20.12.2025.
The Makerhub in Schneeberg is scheduled to open in 2026.
