Discover the Ore Mountains

Idyllic landscapes, unique river valleys, picturesque villages and historic mining towns along the German-Czech border have their origins in more than 850 years of mining history. The Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří mining region has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 2019. The Ore Mountains are a paradise for active holidaymakers and nature lovers. The region is also known for its unique craftsmanship and the magic of true Christmas: centuries-old customs and traditions are deeply rooted and are lived with joy.
