"Blues is the roots, everything else is the fruits" - this wise saying came from Willie Dixon, and it said everything about the importance of this genre. BLUE NOTE INTERNATIONAL placed blues, jazz and related genres such as funk and jazz rock at the centre of a high-calibre series of events running throughout the year. In workshops, a symposium and, of course, many concerts, the project explored the question of the importance of making music together for our social coexistence. To this end, musicians, concert organisers and other artists from the border triangle of Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany and other countries joined forces. The audience could look forward to a rich musical harvest.
