"We live in the best of all possible worlds" and "There is no alternative" - phrases that paralyse social discourse. But where have our utopian ideas gone, all the great, liberating projects? CHEMNITZ UTOPIA explored this question with public performances, workshops and discussions in Chemnitz, Prague and Ústí nad Labem. A theatre production in different versions was developed and performed. The famous Karl Marx head in Chemnitz was the starting point to explore what has become of the utopian ideas of the world.
