A day full of activities for accessible, diverse togetherness

People with disabilities face barriers every single day. Every year on June 14, disabled people from all over Europe celebrate the European Independent Living Day, an opportu- nity to discuss the hardships and triumphs of togetherness. On this day in 2025, we’ll build functional wheelchair ramps using colourful building blocks in a public event at Schlossteichinsel. The bricks are donations from Chemnitz residents. Everyone will work together under the guidance of experts.

When? June 14th 2025
