Come and eat at my table

The city picnic "Come and eat at my table" stood for cultural and culinary diversity. On the Schlossteichinsel, there were delicacies from all over the world and a colourful stage programme.

Originally, the Carnival of Cultures established in Berlin was to come to Chemnitz in the Capital of Culture year as the "Carnival of Cultures Funken". The organisers Kraftverkehr Chemnitz have cancelled the Carnival of Cultures for 2025. However, Chemnitz 2025's planned contribution to the project, Come and eat at my table, will still take place.
