Audio-Workshop 3D-16-Surround

This two-part workshop introduces both the hardware and the software that can be used to create music and audio art with excellent surround sound on the 3D-16 surround system.

In the two-part workshop, the first session on 18 November will focus on 3D 16 6 surround system will be presented and tested in the Buntspeicher. The focus will be on audio technology and hardware such as loudspeakers, mixing console and microphones in order to gain an overview of the equipment. The second session, on 20 November, will show how music and audio artworks can be created using special microphone arrangements or software. The spatial sound is prepared in digital data, arranged and finally exported to be played on the system.

The aim of the workshop is to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of hardware and software and to enable them to create their own audio pieces for the 3D 16 surround system at the end.
