Saxony has had a new state youth ensemble since 2021. The focus is on exploring contemporary music together and familiarising themselves with different compositional techniques of the 20th and 21st centuries. The joy of experimentation characterises the ensemble's musical activities.

Extended cable car journey times - so you can also reach the music summer.
On all Saturdays from 14 June to 23 August 2025, the Augustusburg cable car will extend its journey times until 19:40. From Chemnitz, take the Erzgebirgsbahn railway to Erdmannsdorf.
