Following the annual summer course, the young musicians present the latest music in the "City with Foresight" - under the motto "Off to new horizons!"

Saxony has had a new state youth ensemble since 2021. The focus is on exploring contemporary music together and familiarising themselves with different compositional techniques of the 20th and 21st centuries. The joy of experimentation characterises the ensemble's musical activities.

There will be another concert on the same day at 3 pm, but with a different programme.

Extended travelling times for the cable car - so you can also reach the music summer.
On all Saturdays from 14 June to 23 August 2025, the Augustusburg cable car will extend its journey times until 19:40. From Chemnitz, take the Erzgebirgsbahn railway to Erdmannsdorf.
