The interpretations of baroque musical works are set in dialogue with familiar evening songs. The acoustics of the castle church, consecrated in 1572, and the atmospheric ambience with 1000 candles invite you to come to rest at either 9 or 11 pm, to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to set a counterpoint.

If you are curious to discover the remote corners of Augustusburg Castle in the moonlight at night or what a cosy breeze is blowing in the fountain house, we recommend the combined ticket with the night tour of the castle at 10 pm.

Contributors

Elisabeth Beckert | Baroque oboe
Florian Mauersberger | organ & harpsichord
