First one, then two, then three, then four. Every Saturday during Advent, a new door is opened at the Chemnitz handicraft shop Fadengeschichten for a creative activity. The world stays outside for a few minutes while new techniques are learnt and lovely yet practical gifts are made by hand. A new surprise awaits every week: spinning with a hand spindle, Japanese sashiko embroidery, ribbon weaving or cheerful felting. The material packs contain all the necessary yarns, fibres and work items so that the projects can be continued at home. Participants will be amazed at what they can do!
