Fleurs Noires is an orchestra made up of ten Argentinian and French musicians. Together they deliver a powerful, contemporary tango that differs from traditional tango or electro tango. As established musicians, they blend their cultural differences with the originality of their repertoire. From this tango emerges a sensual, nuanced power that is the result of the diversity of their roots. The original compositions, created especially for the orchestra by the ensemble's pianist Andrea Marsili, capture the essence of the tango and transform it into a contemporary language with a decidedly modern touch.
Fleurs Noires revitalises the historic Paris - Buenos Aires axis by emancipating the place of women in this music originally shaped by men. These passionate women challenge this tradition. Les Fleurs Noires bring to life an intoxicating odyssey that combines class, elegance, freshness and ... Cheekiness.
