The music of "Schipper & Bemanning" is characterised by "steamrolling blues rock" and is influenced by Robert Johnson, Buddy Whittington and Matt Schofield. Since its foundation, the band has played on various stages and blues festivals in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Exceptional guitarist Kees has been on stage since 1966 and celebrates the blues with heart and soul.
