The band CANTO DE RUA was founded in 2007. Its name comes from the Portuguese and means "street corner".
The group consists of Yoichi Izawa on steelpan, Shinsuke Usui on cello and Ken-Gonzo-Sugamata on guitar.

The Japanese music group's music covers a wide range from street music to Bach.

The Goldberg Variations are celebrated with guitar, cello and steel pan.
