Under the name Convivium Musicum Chemnicense, Hans-Hermann Schmidt and a group of musicians from the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra have been researching traces of music history in the Saxon Ore Mountains since 1980. Since then, Schmidt has discovered many a musical treasure in the archives and brought them back to performance centuries later - as an immaterial exhibit in the Silberglanz & Kumpeltod exhibition, so to speak.
