Welcome to the world's first bicycle-powered time machine in the European Capital of Culture!

Velonotte International travels to the world of 1984 and the model city of the GDR. For one evening, you will immerse yourself in the rhythm of the 1980s, experience the breathtaking architecture and hear top-secret stories about Karl-Marx-Stadt.

An official city guide from the GDR travel agency will lead the cyclists through the evening. The 14-kilometre journey leads to gems of GDR architecture and ends in the unique Chemnitz garage landscape at the opening party of the #3000-Garages festival. It is recommended that you dress as you would have in 1984.
